• Microcomputer Hardware Levels, January 10, 2003:
  • Rcoe is doing well with respect to these level.
• Space and Equipment Update and Discussion (Terry) EDH O1a Draft Plan:
  • Results of a survey through the departments has indicated that O1a and b are not working as envisioned for small groups. Plan calls for 5 tables, projector and lecturn; a response on white bord and elmo has been solicited from faculty that teach in the room. Another question that might be asked concerning the imact on teaching.
  • 25 New machines in EDH 215 (flat screen displays)
  • The G4s from EDH 215 have been moved to the Media lab.
  • We need a stratedgy to deal with the surges in use of 216 at certain times.
  • Several of the Mac G4s have been repurposed and moved for the advanced video class.
  • We need to encourage greater use of the Laptop cart use. Those who have checked it out for classroom use are pleased.
  • Only deadspot in wirelessd access is the far east first floor.
• Draft Web Policy Document (George, Terry, John):
  • Exploration and Discussion of RCOE Website Issues and WEB policy resources and examples Flowchart
  • Group was identified to produce draft for May TAC meeting.
  • The importance of established policy for a newly hired WebMaster was brought up by the Dean and discussed.

A nondebatable motion to adjourn was made, seconded, and approved by action of foot.
