Members present: Heather Clark , John Spagnolo, John Spagnolo , Terry McClannon ,Michael Bennett , Gary Moorman , Robert Muffoletto

· The meeting opened with an overview of each of the TAC/ARTTA SALT proposals.

The group present suggested that the leads from each of the initiatives be contacted for feedback on what and when they would like to share their projects.

"There was no real news from the Friday morning technical consultant group. The Mailservers and routers have been upgraded in light of the resent security and email issues.
Colloquia planning was discussed and it was suggested that 12-1 on either a Tuesday/Thursday or Wednwsday would work the best. John agrred to schedule and plan a colloquium on the elearning issue of hybridization.
New faculty needs assessment and technology skill development was discussed. Michael expressed a need for an orientation to the technology resurces into the semester that the faculty member starts. It was suggested that each department identify faculty development and skill development needs.
Scheduling of technology resources was revisited in light of the scheduling software that is now in place. It is important that classes not be scheduled forblocks of time that are not actually planned in advance.
A E-learning needs assessment was suggested to be done by departmental representatives.
