Technology Advisory Committee

The committee reviewed and approved the RCOE Technology Plan final draft. There was some discussion of Goal # 7 concerning the sharing of college resources across the University The need was also acknowledged to establish productive relationships with respect to technology with the other colleges.

Technology Purchase, Notification and Aquisition Forms (TPNAF) were reviewed by the committee.

Terry M. gave an update of the facilities upgrades that are on going.

AAAHE Seven Principles document was reviewed by the committee. This led to a discussion of the need for a conversation focusing on what we mean by the integration of technology. How is this needed college wide conversation going to be captured? John S. agreed tyo contact the Faculty Development Committee to brainstorm was to bring about this community conversation.

 

The Teacher Preparation Star Chart discussion was posponed until the next meeting.
